  • How long will it take for my piece to be crafted? 

    Handcrafted Production Timeline

    As noted on our product pages, we do not maintain a pre-fabricated inventory.

    Our Process:

    Upon receipt of your order, our artisans begin the journey of creating your piece—from the rigorous selection of individual Freshwater, Tahitian, South Sea Pearls and/or sculptural Lucite-inspired pieces to the final hand-polish.

    Lead Times:

    Standard handcrafted orders typically require 1 to 2 weeks for completion. Couture and bespoke commissions may require additional time, which will be communicated during the design phase.

  • What if I’m not home when my package arrives?

    Insured & Signature Shipping

    Given the high-value nature of our jewelry, our shipping process is designed for maximum security.

    Fully Insured: Every shipment is fully insured for its replacement value until it reaches your door.

    Signature Required: For your protection, all deliveries require an adult signature. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

    Discretion: Your order will arrive in discreet outer packaging to ensure the security of the contents during transit.

    Can I track my online order?

    Yes! There are two easy ways to track your order.

    Create an account before completing your purchase.

    If you create an account during checkout, you’ll be able to log in anytime to view your order status and tracking updates.

    Use the tracking information sent to your email with or without an account.

    Once your order ships, we’ll send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. Simply use that link or tracking number to follow your package’s journey.

    Can I return my jewelry pieces?

    Final Sale & Commissions: Because each piece is brought to life specifically for you.

    Handcrafted Nature: All made-to-order and couture pieces are Final Sale.

    Order Integrity:

    Once production has commenced (typically 24 hours after order placement), we are unable to cancel or modify the commission. We appreciate your understanding of the commitment required to create these one-of-a-kind treasures. 

    In the rare event of a structural defect, please contact our team within 14 days of delivery for a complimentary repair or adjustment to your order.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    Bespoke Financing:

    For your convenience, we offer Afterpay. These allow you to distribute the investment of your piece into interest-free installments while your jewelry is being meticulously handcrafted in our studio.

    What is Afterpay?

    Afterpay lets you split your purchase into four interest-free payments, with the first due at checkout and the rest automatically every two weeks.

    Direct Bank Transfer (ACH):

    For high-value couture orders and investment-grade pearl selections, we accept ACH Direct Debit. This method is often preferred for its enhanced security and higher transaction limits.

    Credit & Privacy:

    We accept all major credit cards. Your financial security is paramount; all transactions are encrypted and processed through secure, industry-leading gateways.

  • How do I take care of the metals in my jewelry pieces? 

    The Metals | Cleaning

    Gold & Sterling Silver

    We use high-quality precious metals to ensure the longevity of your handcrafted jewelry.

    10k/14k/18k Gold: Gold does not tarnish, but it can lose its brilliance due to skin oils and lotions.

    Polishing For Gold:Buff gold elements with a soft polishing cloth. Avoid using "dip" cleaners if the piece contains pearls.

    Sterling Silver (.925): Silver naturally oxidizes (darkens) over time when exposed to air and humidity.

    Aging In Silver: To slow tarnishing, store your silver in a cool, dry place. If the silver parts of your jewelry begin to darken, use a jewelry polishing cloth to gently rub the metal.

    The Warning: Never submerge your jewelry in "Silver Dip" or liquid cleaners. These chemicals will permanently damage the organic surface of your pearls.

    How do I take care of the pearls in my jewelry pieces? 

    The Pearls: Hand-Selected Pearls: Pearls are organic gems and require a "soft" touch compared to metals.

    The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always apply perfumes, hairsprays, and lotions before putting on your jewelry.

    Wipe After Wear: Use a clean, damp soft cloth to wipe away body oils before storing.

    Avoid Heat & Chemicals: Keep pearls away from direct sunlight for extended periods and never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners.

    Safe Storage For Your Lifelong Investment

    Separate & Soft: Store your jewelry in the provided pouch or a separate compartment in your jewelry box.

    Anti-Tarnish Strips: For sterling silver pieces, we recommend placing a small anti-tarnish strip inside your storage pouch to absorb moisture and gases that cause darkening.

  • Will my jewelry come with a Certificate of Authenticity?


    Absolutely! The Pearlmint Co. offers and includes a Certificate of Authenticity with every purchase.

    Our Pearl Jewelry Certification is backed by our trained Certified Pearl Specialist through the Cultured Pearl Association of America.

    Our Gold & Sterling Silver has been professionally sourced and tested for quality to ensure the quality of the precious metals used — whether or not pearls are included.

    Hallmarks are present to show purity standards have been met.

    Does The Pearlmint Co. jewelry come with a warranty?

    Yes! Our jewelry is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and the highest-quality materials and standards. Each piece is backed by a Lifetime Warrantyagainst defects in materials and craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear, discoloration, or accidental damage. 

    For optimal care and longevity, we recommend professional maintenance and handling in accordance with our care guidelines.
